The Palais Garnier, opened in 1875 and designed by Charles Garnier, is the historic home of the Paris Opera and the Paris Opera Ballet. Behind its richly decorated façade on the Place de l'Opéra lie the famous Grand Staircase, the gilded Grand Foyer and the red-and-gold auditorium with its ceiling painted by Marc Chagall.
Today the Palais Garnier is the main stage of the Paris Opera Ballet and also presents opera, often baroque and Mozart productions, as well as concerts. Below you will find the current schedule with dates and tickets.
